On October 14–15, 2026, a delegation of representatives from Austrian companies, led by Mr. Gerhard Lackner, Austria’s Foreign Trade Representative for Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, visited Azerbaijan. As part of the visit, an official reception and dinner in honour of the delegation were held on October 15 at the residence of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Azerbaijan. Cavad Musayev, Executive Director of ArchiCO Engineering Company, also attended the event. Held at the invitation of H.E. Etienne Berchtold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Azerbaijan, the event was organized in connection with Austria’s trade mission to Azerbaijan. It served as an important occasion to strengthen business relations between the two countries, facilitate the exchange of experience, and explore new opportunities for cooperation. The visit of Austrian companies to Azerbaijan provides an opportunity to gain insight into the country’s business environment, establish business contacts with local companies, and explore potential partnership opportunities across various sectors.
